We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead the delivery of innovative technology solutions across a multi-campus healthcare organization. This role is a key leadership position within the IT department, serving as the primary liaison for a growing network of regional healthcare partners. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing shared platforms such as Microsoft 365 and ServiceNow, while spearheading the adoption of transformative technologies like Microsoft Co-Pilot to drive staff engagement and operational efficiency.
The Manager will lead several high-impact initiatives, including expanding partnerships with regional healthcare providers, optimizing IT service delivery, and overseeing departmental operations. Responsibilities include managing budgets, setting business objectives, developing and standardizing workflows, ensuring quality of services, and working closely with senior leadership to improve overall performance and service standards.
Salary Range: $125,215.35 to $152,337.90
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and optimization of enterprise technology platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, ServiceNow).
- Champion the adoption of AI-driven tools to enhance productivity and end-user experience.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with external healthcare organizations to extend IT services regionally.
- Oversee daily departmental operations, including budgeting, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
- Develop and enforce standards of practice and service excellence across the department.
- Foster a high-performing IT support and service delivery team, focusing on professional development and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an IT client service environment, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Strong technical and analytical capabilities to support complex decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate technical teams and manage client relationships.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks.
- Experience in operations management, project planning, and service delivery.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Ontario’s hospital or healthcare sector.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (oral and written) at an advanced level.
- Microsoft 365 Certified and/or Modern Work expertise.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
- Experience or certification in organizational change management (e.g., PROSCI).
