We are working with a Federal Government client seeking a Tester and Test Coordinator to join their team for a part-time remote contract until March 2026.
The Tester and Test Coordinator will plan and preform accessibility conformance testing for mobile applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
Task 1: Draft workplan - Test Coordinator
- Provide a work plan that describes how they will conduct all work required
- Identify anticipated risks and/or challenges that may be encountered throughout the project.
- Discuss risks and mitigation strategies to with the Project Authority at the initial meeting.
- Update their workplan based on any inputs.
Task 2: Initial Meeting - Test Coordinator
- Ensure that there is clarity around the purpose regarding the scope of the project and the Contractor’s work.
- Present the updated workplan to the Project Authority and discuss timelines, risks/challenges and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that the work that would be performed by the Test Coordinator and the Tester(s) named by the Contractor would be to the satisfaction of the Project Authority.
Task 3: Updated Final workplan - Test Coordinator
- Submit an updated Final workplan to the Project authority that addresses all feedback provided by the Project Authority regarding the draft workplan.
Task 4: Accessibility conformance testing and analysis - Tester
- Perform accessibility conformance testing of the mobile applications for the mobile applications identified.
- The Test Coordinator, in collaboration with the Tester(s) must perform the analysis of accessibility conformance errors and produce remediation estimates as per the requirements
Task 5: Draft Report - Test Coordinator
- Provide a draft report of all their findings related per the requirements
Task 6: Final Report - Test Coordinator
- Submit a final report with changes that address all feedback provided and which meets the requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- The Tester and Test coordinator must have completed a certification in accessibility conformance testing.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in accessibility conformance testing as a Test Coordinator or Tester
