Agilus is recruiting for a Manager, Pipeline Integrity in the midstream oil & gas service provider sector in Calgary, Alberta.
Our client is looking to hire a Manager of Pipeline Integrity to join their team. This role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive integrity management program. Key areas of responsibility include pipeline and facility integrity, technical services, geotechnical operations, the Project Management Office (PMO), and Safety, Security, and Emergency Response.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the Pipeline Integrity programs manage business risks, align with business needs and meet all regulatory and legal requirements
Direct a team of experts that work in the area of pipeline integrity, geohazard management, and pipeline inspection technologies
Ensure the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Pipeline Integrity processes and procedures to comply with Integrity Management Programs
Optimize daily workflow processes to improve successful management of pipeline integrity hazards
Effectively integrate all new pipeline construction and acquisition assets into company's Integrity Management Program
Provide recommendations on strategic direction for pipeline integrity monitoring and mitigation programs
Provide technical leadership in response to pipeline safety related events, abnormal situations, and regulatory audits
Develop budgets and long-range plans; and
• Provide monthly pipeline integrity performance and safety metrics
Requirements:
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineering Technologist (CET) in related field
10 or more years of relevant industry experience specific to integrity management and pipeline maintenance
3+ years of managerial or leadership experience
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and team building skills, and able to function effectively in a dynamic, high pressure, fast paced environment
Strong working knowledge of integrity management programs, processes, technologies, and applicable codes and regulations
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, and able to travel to the field and throughout North America or internationally, as required
