Our client in the Non-Profit space is hiring a highly organized, bilingual Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to join their team for a one-year maternity leave contract. This onsite front-desk role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and professional first-point-of-contact service. The position offers a strong administrative focus with the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide front-desk reception support, including welcoming guests and responding to inquiries.
- Manage phone lines and correspondence in both English and French.
- Support daily administrative functions such as scheduling, filing, and document preparation.
- Assist with internal communications and coordination across departments.
- Maintain an organized and professional reception area.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or reception experience.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Previous experience in non-profit, union, or advocacy sectors is an asset.
Additional Notes:
Schedule: Onsite, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility with start time)
Type: 1-Year Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage + Transition Period)
