Salary: From 55,000 to 65,000 per Year
 
Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with our client to support the hiring of a Supervisor Technician to join their team. This will be a hands-on repair role with strong growth potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in camera repairs, familiarity with digital imaging software, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on repair of cameras and lenses
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians and contractors
  • Assist with troubleshooting questions and help guide others through repair processes
  • Collaborate with management to understand workflows, product standards, and escalation processes
  • Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in all technical work
  • Support administrative and operational functions, such as tracking repair volume, assisting with inventory processes, and contributing to internal reporting
  • Communicate effectively via email and online meetings to ensure alignment across teams
  • Help manage timelines, process improvements, and general shop coordination

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years experience in a hands-on camera technician role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with camera systems, lenses, and imaging equipment
  • Ability to guide others and foster a positive, productive team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working on-site full time
  • Business process awareness and reporting familiarity is an asset
