What do we Manufacture?

Mars, 3 Musketeers, Milky Way & Maltesers

Required Shift:

Night Shift: Monday- Friday 10pm - 6:30am

Job Purpose:

Responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance, alongside effective troubleshooting and repair of breakdowns across production and utilities.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements

  • Industrial Electrician license (442A)
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a maintenance environment
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems, motors, motor control circuits, power distribution systems up to 600 VAC electrical experience
  • Knowledge of controls and instrumentation (Example: HMI systems, resistance temperature detectors, pressure differential transmitters, and 4-20 MA loop control systems, etc)
  • Knowledge of industrial plant systems, equipment and operations
  • Proficient in the use of industrial mechanics tools, electrician’s tools, instrumentation and controls tools, and rigging/millwork tools

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
  • Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping
  • Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment
  • Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment
  • Ability to read, write and understand English

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • High speed packaging experience
  • Allen Bradley PLC, VFD, Kinetix drives, servo motors, etc
  • SAP/Microsoft Office knowledge 

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

  • Electrical support for a 24/7 production operation
  • Interpret and maintain electrical schematics
  • Identify, design, and implement controls improvement solutions
  • Interface with contractors, vendors, engineering, maintenance, and operations
  • Perform root cause analysis on process interruptions
  • Work with engineering on specific electrical and or controls projects from design to startup, including HMI and PLC programming, installation, checkout, start-up, and training
  • Provide on shift – plant-wide support (including overtime coverage for vacancies) for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolution of Level I (PLC/Servos) and Level II (HMI) system related problems
