Your Opportunity
Our Vancouver, BC office has an opportunity for Senior Technologist working in our Interior Design Studio. This architectural / interior design practice has diverse and interesting projects including commercial, retail, food & beverage, and a wide range of other project types. Working closely with our energized design team, you would be leading the development and productions of construction drawings and details in Revit.
The role includes being a lead in our Revit team, growing & mentoring the team, and excellence in design and construction documentation. There are further opportunities for career advancement to the right candidate. “Come and join our team!”

Your Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on interiors projects, to set up drawing packages.
Development of full construction document packages for projects; including review of shop drawings for compliance with contract documents
Lead and mentor our Revit team
Coordination and review with consultant teams such as code, architects and mechanical, electrical, and structural Engineers, kitchen consultants, and contractors
Work with the Designers to ensure efficient completion of deliverables
Translate designer’s hand sketches into architectural details
Develop construction details and complete project and millwork drawings
Support technical tools used by the Interior Design team, including Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up and BlueBeam
Multi-tasking on several concurrent projects
Focused ability to follow through, deliver results and meet deadlines
Highly motivate, detailed oriented and dependable, taking ownership of assigned tasks
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
A high level of current Revit experience is required. Proficiency in Revit along with great collaboration skills are key to this position
Tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Bluebeam are also beneficial
Retail and/or F&B project experience is an asset
Highly effective communication skills and relationship management skills in your dealings with the design team, clients, and contractors
Good problem solving and multi-tasking ability
Independent, proactive, and collaborative
Career driven and open to growth potential
Experience in leading a small team of people is an asset

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
