Agilus is recruiting for a Solution Architect - Data in the Financial Services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
Join our team as a Solution Architect - Data and shape our data quality and master data management strategies. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure, driving innovation in a dynamic financial environment.
Responsibilities:
Create data quality dashboards to monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for data quality metrics.
Assess data governance market vendors for data catalog and lineage capabilities to meet functional requirements.
Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations for data governance tooling.
Develop a reusable data quality framework and processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across the organization.
Collaborate with Data Architecture, Data Enablement, and Data working teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Utilize Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure to build scalable, efficient data quality solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (degree in Computer Science preferred).
8-10 years of experience in building data models.
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on data quality and master data management.
Hands-on experience implementing data quality and master data management solutions.
Experience guiding organizations through vendor selection for data quality and master data management solutions.
Expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure.
Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages.
Strong understanding of financial and capital markets data.
