We are seeking a SAP HCM & SuccessFactors Functional Analyst with a deep understanding of HR systems, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
About the Role
As a key member of the Human Capital Management (HCM) team, you will play an integral role in capturing system objectives, evaluating business requirements, and defining solutions aligned with enterprise architecture. You'll work closely with internal and external partners, business sponsors, systems architects, developers, and quality teams to ensure successful project delivery.
This role will be involved in small to large-scale projects impacting multiple business areas and requires a strong understanding of HR technologies, especially SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, and incentive compensation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Configure SAP ECC (Time Management, Payroll – Canada), SuccessFactors HR modules, and variable pay modules to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and design solutions for decision support and reporting.
Translate business requirements into system specifications and designs.
Partner with technical teams to develop, test, and deploy solutions.
Analyze integration points between ECC and SuccessFactors, with focus on Employee Central, Payroll, and Time Management.
Ensure technology solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards.
Provide operational and sustainment support for HCM systems.
Core Qualifications
Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP HCM modules: Payroll (Canada), Time Management, OM, PA, Benefits.
Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and data replication with ECC.
3+ years' experience in business analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent knowledge of payroll processes and schemas.
Demonstrated experience in full SDLC projects using agile and waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong initiative, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience in the Financial Services or Wealth Management sector.
SAP BW and SAP HANA knowledge.
Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors modules: LMS, Recruitment, Onboarding, Reporting.
Experience with Specialized Incentive Compensation tools (e.g., ICM).
Familiarity with Qualtrics and third-party HR integrations.
Education
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business, HR Technology, or related field – or equivalent experience.
