We are currently seeking a Senior Advisor, Security Architecture to join a passionate team supporting a meaningful mission: enhancing the well-being of Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, and their families. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to serve those who serve Canada.
As a Senior Advisor in Security Architecture, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust security systems and architecture. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure the organization’s IT infrastructure and digital assets are protected through proactive measures and modern security best practices.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead end-to-end security architecture activities from concept through implementation.
Design and implement scalable, secure systems and infrastructure solutions.
Develop and review security requirements for applications, services, and data.
Implement critical security services including authentication, authorization, monitoring, and incident response.
Collaborate with teams on project planning, technical solutioning, and risk management.
Support architecture sizing, threat mitigation, and incident response strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications:
Diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in solution, technical, or systems architecture.
Proficiency in security architecture design in multi-vendor and multi-technology environments.
Deep knowledge in areas such as network security, VoIP, wireless infrastructure, CRM systems (asset), and COTS development environments.
Strong background in project management, team leadership, and stakeholder communication.
Experience with architecture frameworks, modeling tools, and risk assessments.
