Dealer Credit Analyst – Commercial Lending (12 Month Term)

Are you a detail-oriented financial analyst with a passion for the automotive and transportation industry? Our client, a well-established provider of commercial lending solutions, is seeking a Dealer Credit Analyst to join their growing team on a 12-Month Term basis. The successful candidate will step into a critical role analyzing complex dealer portfolios and supporting multimillion-dollar lending decisions across Canada.
Responsibilities:
Assess Dealer Credit Requests: Analyze new and existing dealer credit applications in line with internal credit policies, providing formal recommendations for renewals, increases, and new facility approvals.
Conduct Financial Reviews: Examine financial statements and credit data to assess risk, structure, and collateral; ensure all information is accurate and compliant with internal standards.
Monitor Dealer Performance: Track key metrics including inventory aging and overall credit utilization; recommend adjustments or interventions as needed.
Develop Credit Files: Conduct in-depth reviews and write formal credit recommendations for dealer financing, including capital loans, operating lines, and mortgages.
Analyze Financial Performance: Evaluate dealer financial statements, cash flow, and security positions. Monitor leverage ratios, net cash, and other key indicators to assess creditworthiness.
Engage with Stakeholders: Present recommendations clearly to senior decision-makers.
