Our client in the Non-Profit space is hiring an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong focus on recruitment and retention strategies to support a growing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership on staffing needs, organizational restructuring, and a significant upcoming office move. This is an 11 week contract, potential to go permanent, and offers a hybrid work model with 1 day onsite per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes: job postings, interviews, offers, onboarding
- Advise and coach managers on talent acquisition and employee retention strategies
- Support employee engagement and performance management initiatives
- Assist with HR policy development, interpretation, and implementation
- Act as a key partner during organizational restructuring and office relocation
- Collaborate with senior leaders across various departments
- Serve as a reliable HR point of contact, working independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain HR records and utilize ADP and HRIS administration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in recruitment and retention strategy development
- Strong working knowledge of HR best practices and employment standards
- Previous experience in non-profit or healthcare-related environments preferred
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in ADP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field
- CHRP designation required
- Bilingualism in French is a an asset
