Salary: 44.82 per Hour
 

Our client, a regulatory body, is seeking an Intake Administrator to join their team on an 11 week contract with potential for extension and permanent opportunity.

This role is a hybrid model, working on-site once a week and remote work 4 days a week. 

This role plays a crucial role in supporting the administration of intake assessment services for Registration Intake functions. This position ensures the efficient processing of applications, eligibility assessments, and accommodation requests while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review eligibility for accommodation requests for Registration examinations, including the Jurisprudence examination; arrange suitable accommodations for applicants with verified functional limitations without compromising exam integrity.

  • Assess applicant declarations regarding character, conduct, and health conditions potentially affecting nursing practice; escalate to Intake Assessor based on risk guidelines.

  • Facilitate the processing of criminal record checks; schedule Identity Check meetings for applicants needing additional security identification; collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues.

  • Initiate correspondence and promptly respond to inquiries from applicants and third parties.

  • Collaborate with relevant system partners to streamline team processes and update process documentation as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a similar role.

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and the ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines effectively.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related discipline.
