Our client, a leading player in the North American retail space, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their fast-paced marketing team. About the Role
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal support role in the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns — particularly in the digital space. You will work in close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and analytics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of marketing initiatives, while also helping to track and report on campaign performance.
This position requires a high level of organization, an analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to learning new systems and tools. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and brings a passion for executing data-driven marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support marketing managers in the execution of various national and regional marketing campaigns, with a focus on digital marketing channels including e-flyers, promotional initiatives, and other digital assets.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure alignment with creative, merchandising, and operations teams for timely campaign rollout.
- Work closely with analytics teams to gather data, interpret performance metrics, and help evaluate return on investment (ROI) for ongoing initiatives.
- Assist in campaign reporting, including the preparation of presentations and documentation for internal review.
- Utilize project management tools and in-house systems to track campaign progress and maintain documentation.
- Uphold organizational standards in file management, process documentation, and execution timelines.
- Embrace a fast-learning environment, quickly adapting to new tools and technologies used within the team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant marketing coordination or campaign support experience.
- Previous experience in e-commerce or retail marketing environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel (intermediate level – e.g., pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with a highly organized and process-driven approach.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Quick learner, with the ability to get up to speed quickly on proprietary tools and internal systems.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools or platforms (e.g., CMS, analytics dashboards, email marketing tools).
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration within large organizations.
