Our established client, a Non-Profit organization in Mississauga, is seeking a full-time permanent Administrative Assistant to join their team. Roles and Responsibilities
-Provide administrative support to several directors and their team
-Scheduling and calendar management
-Travel and meeting coordination
-Expense management
-Email correspondence
-Preparation of PowerPoint presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation as needed
-Minute taking
-Event coordination
-Project support
-Catering coordination
-Vendor relations
-Support with office operations including tasks like ordering supplies, facilities support, arranging equipment, etc.
-Assist with office moves
-Stakeholder communication
-Provide backup support for Executive Assistants
-Assist with onboarding new team members
-Filing and records management
-Other related administrative duties as needed
Qualifications and Skills
-Must have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma
-Must have a minimum of 3 years of Administrative Assistant experience, ideally supporting mid to senior level executives
-Experience working in manufacturing, education, legal, healthcare, government, or non-profit/association is preferred
-Must be proficient in MS Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Word
-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Project support experience is strongly preferred
-Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
-Must be able to work well with individuals at all levels of an organization
-Must have excellent client service skills
-Must be tech-savvy
