We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead a complex technology transformation initiative, including the implementation of a new case management system. This role is ideal for a professional with a proven track record in managing multi-faceted technology projects, navigating stakeholder relationships, and delivering solutions on time and within budget using a hybrid Agile-Waterfall approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee delivery of large-scale projects, including technology, governance, operations, and change management components.
Define project goals, scope, and success criteria in alignment with strategic organizational objectives.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring effective project controls and quality assurance.
Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to manage risks, resolve issues, and maintain alignment.
Drive stakeholder engagement, communications, and change management strategies.
Prepare project documentation, evaluation reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Support organizational project portfolio management and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Project Management certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., PMP).
Minimum 7 years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with budgets of $1M or more.
At least 5 years of experience leading technology implementation initiatives.
Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendor relationships, and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated ability to write business cases, RFPs, and develop estimates to support strategic decisions.
Familiarity with Agile-Waterfall hybrid project methodologies.
Experience with business transformation and aligning systems with evolving processes.
Additional Considerations:
Preference may be given to candidates based in Metro Vancouver or surrounding regions.
