We are seeking a seasoned Change Manager to support a large-scale SAP program implementation for our client. This role will be critical in driving user adoption, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring smooth transitions across Finance, IT, and business functions impacted by the new SAP environment. The initial contract term is 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension based on project needs.
Candidates must be elligible to work in Canada and located in BC to attend the client's office in Vancouver for a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy and plan aligned with the SAP program roadmap.
Conduct impact assessments and change readiness analyses to inform engagement and training strategies.
Work closely with project leadership, business units, and functional teams to understand change impacts and mitigate resistance.
Design and lead stakeholder engagement plans, including communication, feedback, and reporting mechanisms.
Collaborate with Training Leads and SMEs to support content development, knowledge transfer, and end-user enablement.
Monitor adoption metrics, identify risks to success, and proactively propose mitigation strategies.
Serve as a key liaison between program leadership and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in organizational change management, preferably on large-scale technology or ERP projects.
Strong understanding of SAP programs and business processes in industries such as mining, energy, or manufacturing.
Proven experience with change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, communications, and training coordination.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with executive and frontline stakeholders alike.
Prosci certification or other formal change management training is an asset.
Experience working in complex, unionized, or regulated environments is preferred.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous project environments and manage multiple priorities.
