Position: Director, Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - 4 months contract Location: North York, ON – Full-Time Contract, HybridSalary: up to $150 (depending on experience)A well-established and growing healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Finance, FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and administrative expense management. With over 300 facilities across Canada and a commitment to integrated health services, this organization offers a collaborative and purpose-driven work environment.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the VP Finance, the Director, FP&A will play a key leadership role in managing the company’s planning and forecast cycles, developing detailed financial models, and supporting executive management through strategic insights and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Planning and Budgeting
- Lead annual budgeting processes in alignment with strategic and operational goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to collect and validate assumptions for budget development.
- Deliver detailed planning packages, including revenue, labour, and cost bridges compared to previous years.
- Financial Forecasting and Analysis
- Build and maintain forecast models to evaluate performance and highlight variances.
- Deliver regular and ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Corporate Administrative Expense Oversight
- Manage corporate administrative expenses and cost-saving opportunities.
- Report on admin expenses and trends to leadership, highlighting risks and strategic recommendations.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary finance business partner to executive leadership.
- Provide financial support during strategic planning meetings and significant business decisions.
- Build strong internal relationships to support key initiatives across departments.
Qualifications:- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a dedicated FP&A role.
- Demonstrated success in a finance business partner capacity.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Effective collaborator with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
