We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join a dynamic infrastructure team focused on automation, scalability, and secure cloud environment management.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with deep experience in tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps. You will help ensure cloud infrastructure is reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs. Candidates must be comfortable working in collaborative environments and participating in an on-call rotation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and deployment
Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot Azure-based services
Manage and maintain virtualized server environments across Windows and Linux platforms
Oversee system patching, certificate renewals, OS image management, and server lifecycle processes
Contribute to the development of the organization's cloud roadmap and participate in design review activities
Provide technical guidance and support to peers and other departments
Participate in an on-call support rotation for critical infrastructure systems
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or software development
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS), including core services such as compute, networking, and storage
Familiarity with cloud-native CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (classic and YAML)
Solid understanding of Windows Server and Linux systems, with experience in patching and security maintenance
Proven ability to work in complex, integrated environments and cross-functional teams
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools
Education
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM discipline
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and ability to translate skills across environments
Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., AKS, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices in cloud infrastructure
Certification in Azure, DevOps, or related technologies
Previous involvement in enterprise-scale IT transformation projects
