We are seeking a detail-oriented DB Pension Administrator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering pension plans, and providing exceptional service to plan participants.
This position will be fully remote, equipment will be provided and work hours are Full time, Monday to Friday.
This is a 3 month contract position with potential to extend and our client is looking for someone to join as soon as possible.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan Administration: Manage the day-to-day operations of pension plans, including processing contributions, benefit payments, and other plan transactions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pension plans comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Prepare and submit required regulatory filings and reports.
- Participant Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for plan participants. Provide information on plan provisions, benefits, and options. Respond to participant inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of plan participants, contributions, and benefits. Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Plan Documentation: Prepare and maintain plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and other related materials. Ensure all documentation is current and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on plan performance, participant demographics, and other key metrics. Present findings to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and Teams
- Previous Administrative experience
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Financial experience and/or the ability to grasp financial concepts
- Pension experience is preferable, but not mandatory
- Bilingual in French would be an advantage
