We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Level 1 Technical Support Specialist to assist in the reimaging and support of devices across clinical environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with imaging tools, Active Directory, SCCM, and backup utilities, while effectively communicating with end users to schedule and execute support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform device imaging using PXE boot processes both on-site and remotely.

  • Coordinate and schedule reimaging sessions with multiple users across clinical areas.

  • Move and manage computer objects within Active Directory as part of the imaging process.

  • Work flexible hours based on clinical area availability (no overtime required).

  • Backup and restore user data utilizing an in-house backup tool prior to reimaging.

  • Install applications remotely using SCCM, as well as through local installation when required.

  • Provide clear and professional communication with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption during device servicing.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, steps taken, and issues encountered.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Level 1 Technical Support role or similar.

  • Solid understanding of PXE boot processes and remote imaging techniques.

  • Experience with Active Directory and moving computer objects.

  • Familiarity with SCCM and remote application deployment.

  • Comfortable working with backup tools to preserve user data.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts based on end-user availability, without requiring overtime.

  • Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment is an asset.

  • Knowledge of basic troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software issues.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
