The Ministry of Jobs Economy and Trade is looking for a Senior Policy Analyst within the Workplace Policy and Legislation Branch.
Employment Standards Senior Policy Analyst
Reporting to the Manager of Employment Standards Policy and Legislation, the Senior Policy Analyst joins a team of committed professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of the Employment Standards Code and Employment Standards Regulation. This position will provide strategic advice and technical analysis and interpretation related to employment standards policy and legislation.
The Senior Policy Analyst will support the development of stakeholder-responsive policy and legislation through government approval processes. The position will help lead stakeholder engagement or public consultation. They will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand workplace issues or provide employment standards expertise. Additionally, they will support cross-divisional projects related to the interpretation and application of employment standards legislation.
