The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to support our client's team. You will manage key procurement processes, ensuring compliance and value in the acquisition of essential goods and services, particularly within IT. This is a chance to contribute to meaningful public service initiatives.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Preparing and managing procurement documents (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs).
- Developing and reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs) for compliance and completeness.
- Creating bid evaluation criteria in collaboration with internal teams.
- Ensuring adherence to procurement regulations and processes.
- Recommending contract awards for software, IT services, and consulting.
- Liaising with internal partners and external vendors for contract follow-up.
- Assisting in the improvement of procurement procedures.
- Utilizing reporting databases and systems (e.g., VMS).
- Providing general support to the procurement team.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in a procurement analyst role, ideally with public sector exposure.
- Strong knowledge of RFx processes, SOW development, and bid evaluation.
- Understanding of procurement regulations and compliance.
- Experience with IT, software, or consulting services procurement.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with procurement or vendor management systems.
Working Environment:
- Hybrid Model: Requires in-office presence up to 3 days a week; this may change with short notice based on organizational directives.
- Dynamic Setting: Expect shifting deadlines, tight time pressures, and changing priorities. This role involves frequent analysis of procurement documents.
