En tant que rédacteur de service chez United Rentals,

vous serez responsable des tâches administratives liées au service et à la maintenance.

Ces tâches comprennent, mais sans s'y limiter, l'exécution des ordres de travail, le suivi du temps

des techniciens, le recouvrement de la garantie et la mise à jour de la maintenance préventive.

Vous êtes également responsable de la planification, de la tenue des dossiers d'équipement,

du traitement des factures liées au service, du traitement des demandes des clients et de la tenue

du service après-vente informé des bulletins de service et des informations générales.

Les tâches supplémentaires comprennent ce qui suit :

  • Achèvements d'ordres de travail, tels que l'ouverture et la fermeture d'ordres de travail avec des informations précises

  • Rapports sur le temps des techniciens, assurez-vous que toutes les heures rémunérées disponibles pour le travail sont enregistrées avec précision et en temps opportun

  • Assurez-vous que toutes les tâches éligibles à la garantie sont créées et soumises à la garantie

  • Surveiller les rapports de garantie pour s'assurer que toutes les réclamations sont correctement clôturées

  • Exécutez des rapports de maintenance préventive et planifiez les travaux de manière appropriée pour maintenir un niveau élevé d'actualité de la flotte

  • Gérer les problèmes liés à la maintenance de l'équipement avec un sentiment d'urgence élevé

  • Tenir la direction informée des préoccupations des clients

  • S'assurer que toutes les factures liées au service sont correctement codées dans le bon grand livre

  • Autres tâches assignées au besoin

Exigences de l'emploi:

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent

  • Permis de conduire valide avec dossier de conduite acceptable

  • à 2 ans d'expérience dans un atelier ou un environnement de service

  • Compétences informatiques de base

  • Attention au détail

  • Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches dans un environnement occupé

  • Sens aigu de l'urgence en ce qui concerne le service à la clientèle

  • Compétences supérieures en service à la clientèle, en travail d'équipe et en communication verbale/écrite

As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for service and maintenance related administrative duties. These duties include but are not limited to work order completion, technician time tracking, warranty recovery and preventive maintenance currency.  You are also responsible for scheduling, maintaining equipment files, processing service related invoices, handling customer inquiries and keeping the service department informed with respect to service bulletins and general information.

What you'll do:

  • Work Order Completions, such as opening and closing work orders with accurate information

  • Technician Time Reporting, ensure all paid hours available for work are recorded accurately and timely

  • Ensure that all tasks eligible for warranty are created and submitted for warranty

  • Monitor warranty reporting to ensure that all claims are properly brought to closure

  • Run Preventive Maintenance reports and schedule work as appropriate to maintain a high level of fleet currency

  • Handle equipment maintenance related issues with a high sense of urgency

  • Keep Management informed of customer concerns

  • Ensure all service-related invoices are properly coded within the correct General Ledger

  • Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

  • 1 – 2 years experience in a shop or service environment

  • Basic computer skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment

  • High sense of urgency with respect to customer service

  • Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
