Year long Contract for a Lead Scheduler in the Edmonton area ideally with Pipeline project experience Agilus is recruiting for a Lead Scheduler in the Oil&Gas Industry in Edmonton, Alberta. This position involves leading and mentoring a team of schedulers to develop and maintain a precise and comprehensive project schedule. The Lead Scheduler will provide expert guidance on forecasting, schedule variance reporting, schedule metrics, and change management. Responsibilities: Lead and guide the scheduling team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment Develop and Maintain Project Schedule: Utilize Primavera P6 to create and sustain a detailed and accurate project schedule Ensure the schedule is aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and key project milestones Generate and deliver schedule variance reports, emphasizing deviations and proposing corrective actions Establish and monitor schedule metrics to evaluate and enhance project monitoring and performance. Evaluate the effects of schedule changes and effectively communicate these impacts to relevant stakeholders Requirements: Leadership when it comes to schedules - reporting/metrics; know how to read KPI's and review them.
