Salary: From $80,000 to $115,000 per Year
 
Our client is seeking a Network Specialist to join their enterprise technology team. This role is responsible for the design, administration, and support of the firm's data, voice, and video systems across multiple office locations and cloud environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the organization modernize its networking and security infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and cloud-based network transformation. This position is primarily remote but offers in-office workspace upon request. Occasional travel to national office locations may be required.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on the design and delivery of firmwide data, voice, and video systems across offices, data centers, and cloud platforms.
  • Optimize and manage Microsoft Azure networking components, including firewalls and management groups.
  • Support the transformation of the organization's network and security model from on-premise to cloud-based technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, SSE, FWaaS, ZTNA, CASB).
  • Administer core infrastructure such as routers, firewalls, BGP/OSPF networks, and network monitoring systems.
  • Manage network services including DNS, SSL certificates, and trust relationships.
  • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of VPN and multi-factor authentication systems.
  • Develop and apply conditional and risk-based access policies.
  • Ensure adequate network and power redundancy is in place.
  • Support the design and operation of wireless infrastructure across locations.
  • Create and enforce architecture standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with external service providers and internal project stakeholders.
  • Support incident resolution, hardware upgrades, and ongoing network security maintenance.
  • Keep current on emerging technologies and serve as a subject matter expert for internal IT projects.
Qualifications:
  • Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Fortinet Certified Expert or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level voice, video, and data networks.
  • Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, QoS, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi technologies in high availability environments.
  • Hands-on experience with security-focused network architecture and technologies including firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, WAF, and authentication systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams Telephony is preferred.
  • Experience managing disaster recovery plans and working with managed service providers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects and documentation workflows.
