Our client, an established Association, is seeking a Success Advisor for a 10 month contract position. This role offers a competitive salary and the chance to join a friendly team in a dynamic environment! This is a hybrid role located in Mississauga requiring 3 days a week in-office.
Roles and Responsibilities
-Support the organization with a workforce development initiative project
-Provide coaching to program participants including resume advice, interview tips, and more
-Participate in training workshops
-Support candidates with job applications that align with their goals
-Provide support and guidance for candidates throughout their first few months of employment
-Develop relationships with employers to assist with recruitment strategies and to help identify suitable program participants
-Organize job fairs and other similar events
-Work with employers to determine their needs
-Liaise with employers, candidates and other program partners to answer inquiries and ensure needs are being met
-Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation
-Other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills
-Must have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma
-Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Job Development, Employment Support, Recruitment, or Talent Acquisition
-Experience working in a Non-Profit/Association is strongly preferred
-Must have experience working with a broad sector of the population with career guidance
-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Must have strong problem-solving skills
-Must be able to muti-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-paced environment
-Must have program or project experience
-Must be proficient in MS Office
