We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to support key HR and administrative functions at our client's organization. This 6 month contract role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in HR, administration, or customer service who is looking to gain further experience in a dynamic environment.
The position is on-site with an 8 AM start time and occasional travel to our client's Mississauga location, offering $24-25/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries at the HR reception desk.
- Update and maintain employee records in ADP/Workforce Now, including leaves, returns, terminations, and other employee changes.
- Create employee ID badges and prepare employment letters.
- Track and maintain work permit and SIN data.
- Organize and maintain employee files and termination documents.
- Assist the HR Generalist and HRBP with various tasks as needed.
- Support attendance tracking and management for unionized employees.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of HR, administrative, or customer service experience.
- Familiarity with ADP/Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
- Access to a car is highly beneficial due to occasional travel to the Mississauga location.
- A proactive and helpful approach to employee interactions.
