We're seeking an experienced Data Consultant to join a mission-driven project supporting a non-profit organization undergoing major data governance and cloud modernization efforts. This is a great opportunity to bring your data expertise to a cause that makes a real impact. Contract, remote. 

Project Overview

The role supports two critical data governance initiatives focused on payroll systems and retail solutions, involving "lift-and-shift" migrations from legacy platforms to modern cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end solutions for data governance, quality, and metadata management

• Design and implement scalable data models aligned with business objectives

• Conduct data quality checks, identify gaps, and ensure ongoing data integrity

• Utilize tools to support metadata management and governance reporting

• Work cross-functionally to implement and enforce data governance best practices

• Report metrics to internal stakeholders on data quality and compliance
  
  Ideal Candidate Has:

• 4–8 years of experience in data governance and data modeling

• Strong hands-on experience with metadata and data quality tools

• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data lineage

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and migration strategies

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
