As part of the Policy and Corporate Services Branch, the Programs Division works to deliver funding programs that support the agriculture industry’s path to innovation, sustainability and resilience in a manner that is efficient, effective, transparent, and accountable.
Reporting to the Director of Programs, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of cost-shared programs under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership and successive federal-provincial-territorial agreements, as well as provincial programming. Supervising a team, you will help implement an improved process framework to design, deliver and monitor developmental programs for the agriculture sector.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible to:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as business, public administration or agriculture, and at least six (6) years’ of related work experience or an acceptable equivalent.
As the successful candidate, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, advanced analytical skills, ability to manage complex processes, an understanding of grant and funding program principles and delivery, as well as a client-focused proactive approach to service delivery. You have the ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results. This role will require you to be fully proficient in a Microsoft Office environment, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
Experience with financial management, process improvement, and staff supervision, and knowledge of the agriculture industry would be assets.
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.

Salary Range: $3,107.16 - $3,649.33 Bi-Weekly
