Our client, a leading healthcare organization in the mental health sector, is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant. This role is critical in helping coordinate interpretation services for clients and their families, ensuring smooth scheduling and efficient handling of requests.
Location: On-site, Toronto
Schedule: Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Contract Duration: 11 weeks with possibility of extension up to 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage interpreter requests through Outlook and Excel databases.
Triage incoming requests and prioritize urgent interpretation needs.
Communicate with staff the status of their service requests.
Provide administrative support and ensure accurate tracking of all requests.
Requirements:
2+ years of administrative experience; medical administration or healthcare setting experience preferred.
Completed education in Office Administration or a related field.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Flexibility to cover additional shifts if needed on occasion.
