Agilus is recruiting for a Manager, Business Applications in the Healthcare industry in a hybrid work environment in Mississauga, Ontario.
The Manager, Business Applications is responsible for leading the technical strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing support of critical business applications. This role demands a strong grasp of both system architecture and business processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and drive operational efficiency. The Technical Manager works closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into practical, high-impact technical solutions.
A day in the life:
Collaborate with the transformation team to implement a technology roadmap aligned with strategic goals, including digital initiatives like patient portals, e-commerce platforms, and prescriber tools.
Oversee integration and administration of cloud-based and on-premise business. applications, ensuring seamless system connectivity.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues to maintain business continuity.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and internal IT policies.
Partner with vendors and central teams to monitor and optimize application, server, and network performance.
Lead the design and maintenance of systems architecture and integration frameworks across platforms such as Salesforce, OpenEMR, D365, and third-party tools.
Guide and mentor team leads, supporting resolution of critical issues and fostering team development.
Support annual planning by identifying performance improvement opportunities and assisting with application and departmental budgeting.
Successful candidates will have:
7-10 years of experience managing ERP & CRM applications
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and on-premise applications.
Proficient in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, SQL, and PHP.
Demonstrated success managing and administering AWS and Azure environments, with expertise in cloud architecture, deployment, and maintenance.
