Agilus is recruiting for an Inside Sales Administrator in the Motor industry in a hybrid work environment in Markham, Ontario.
The Inside Sales Administrative Support will be responsible for handling customer calls and emails.
A day in the life:
Accurately process and input customer orders promptly, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met
Manage and maintain oversight of the status of quotes and orders throughout the entire process, from initiation (quote/order) to conclusion (product delivery). This encompasses various aspects such as related submissions, special price inquiries, expediting requests, queries, credit holds, orders awaiting clarification, and other factors potentially impeding the progress of quotes/orders
Precisely handle credits and Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) in a timely manner, adhering to departmental procedures
Identify, communicate, and assist in resolving areas of concern pertaining to data entry, system glitches, customer service issues, training needs, or any other aspects posing potential disruptions to the overall customer service workflow
Ensure ready availability to customers, managing and processing a substantial volume of phone calls or emails promptly and efficiently
Maintain comprehensive customer files and data, encompassing pricing details, contracts, profiles, and records of both open and closed customer orders and inquiries. Actively pursue and stay updated on product and system knowledge enhancements
Efficiently handle and arrange customer quotations and inquiries in accordance with departmental procedures and within specified timelines
Perform any additional duties as required for the role, beyond those explicitly outlined here
The successful candidate brings:
Basic secondary education is required, but possessing post-secondary education would be preferred
A minimum of two years' experience in a customer service or inside sales role, preferably within the industrial sector
Proficiency in data entry and working with computer software (JD Edwards, Oracle, MS Office: Word, Outlook and Excel)
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Exceptional teamwork skills
Outstanding customer service and relationship-building capabilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Bilingualism in French would be considered an asset
