Agilus is recruiting for a Business Applications Support Specialist in the Healthcare industry in a hybrid work environment in Mississauga, Ontario.
This position is responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining the overall health and performance of critical business systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, a solid grasp of business operations, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Provide responsive support to end-users across multiple channels (phone, email, chat), ensuring timely resolution of application-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues by analyzing workflows, identifying root causes, and applying effective solutions.
Escalate complex problems to appropriate teams or vendors while keeping users informed throughout the resolution process.
Maintain thorough documentation of support activities and resolutions, and stay current on application updates to enhance support quality.
Collaborate with the application team to thoroughly test and validate enhancements and upgrades, ensuring they align with requirements and function properly.
Document test results meticulously, report defects, and coordinate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm that solutions meet end-user needs and are deployment-ready.
Successful candidates will have:
3-5 years of experience in application support or a related support role
Familiar with business applications (ERP, CRM), OPEN EMR is a nice to have
Bilingual (EN/FR) is a nice to have
Excellent communication skills
