Altis Recruitment is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (A/R) Collector to join our Mississauga-based client. If you have at least one year of collections experience and strong communication skills to handle inbound and outbound calls related to outstanding accounts, this could be your next great opportunity!
Location: On-site in Mississauga
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Employment Type: Contract-to-start, with high potential for permanent placement
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and discrepancies
Follow up on collections and allocate payments accordingly
Process cash receipts, credits, and bank deposits
Perform GL account reconciliation and ensure correct invoice posting
Manage and distribute petty cash
Process and issue biweekly cheques for expense reports
Track and process employee travel cheques
Provide general accounting support as needed
What We’re Looking For:
1+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
