Role: Senior Lead Software Engineer – ServiceNow ITOM
Location: Toronto or Montreal (Remote)
Client: Financial industry client
Language Requirement: French-speaking (for Canada)
Pay rates: $65-75/HR
Summary
Seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience on the ServiceNow platform, with proven expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and/or Cloud Provisioning and Governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Provisioning and Governance) in ServiceNow.
- Apply best practices to optimize IT operations and support infrastructure proactively.
- Perform impact analysis and troubleshooting across ITOM components; ensure seamless integration with ServiceNow and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ITOM solutions aligned with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Event Management).
- Configure and continuously improve ServiceNow Discovery and automation capabilities.
- Customize and administer ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
- Resolve ITOM-related issues and design scalable, complex solutions.
- Utilize orchestration and automation within ServiceNow.
Certification Requirements
Must hold at least one of the following ITOM-related certifications:
- CIS – ITOM
- CIS – Discovery
- CIS – Service Mapping
- CIS – Event Management
- CIS – Cloud Provisioning and Governance
Additional required certifications:- CSA (Certified System Administrator)
- CAD (Certified Application Developer)
