Role: Senior Lead Software Engineer – ServiceNow ITOM
Location: Toronto or Montreal (Remote)
Client: Financial industry client
Language Requirement: French-speaking (for Canada)
Pay rates:  $65-75/HR

Summary

Seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience on the ServiceNow platform, with proven expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and/or Cloud Provisioning and Governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Provisioning and Governance) in ServiceNow.
  • Apply best practices to optimize IT operations and support infrastructure proactively.
  • Perform impact analysis and troubleshooting across ITOM components; ensure seamless integration with ServiceNow and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ITOM solutions aligned with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Event Management).
  • Configure and continuously improve ServiceNow Discovery and automation capabilities.
  • Customize and administer ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
  • Resolve ITOM-related issues and design scalable, complex solutions.
  • Utilize orchestration and automation within ServiceNow.

Certification Requirements

Must hold at least one of the following ITOM-related certifications:

  • CIS – ITOM
  • CIS – Discovery
  • CIS – Service Mapping
  • CIS – Event Management
  • CIS – Cloud Provisioning and Governance
Additional required certifications:
  • CSA (Certified System Administrator)
  • CAD (Certified Application Developer)
