Part Time Restorative Aide

MANDATE:
Assist in the provision of a comprehensive Restorative Care Program by assisting residents to
achieve optimum functioning through the provision of prescribed, individual or group, goal-
oriented programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A two-year College Diploma in Rehabilitation Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or
Physiotherapist Assistant with related courses, plus 1 year of related experience in a rehabilitation
setting. Must have knowledge of the rehabilitation and aging, and the implications of the process
in a long-term care setting. Must have experience working with the elderly. Must meet job
demands, physical and cognitive.
This position is paid ($28.11-$29.99) on the CUPE Salary Grid. 90 hours per four-week period.
