Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking an Intake Coordinator/Claims Examiner. This is a great opportunity to build a meaningful career where your contributions are truly valued. In this role, you'll follow up with Plan Sponsors and Members to gather completed documentation, answer claims-related questions, and ensure accurate claim setup in line with contract terms and group-specific features.
Opportunity Details:
- Start date: ASAP
- 3 month contract to start
- Hybrid in Winnipeg, MB (2 days onsite)
- Traning onsite (4-6 weeks)
- $20.00/hour
Requirements
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills to assess health and dental claims.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both [insert languages if applicable].
- Proven ability to handle high volumes of work efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing exceptional support.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality; dependable and responsible.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in claims adjudication, health benefits administration, or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with group health and dental policy contracts is an asset.
- Experience conducting provider outreach for additional claim information is a plus.
- Knowledge of adjudication guidelines and related systems/tools.
