Agilus is recruiting for a Senior SCADA Systems Specialist in the Midstream Energy Sector in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
As a Senior SCADA System Specialist, you oversee the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of SCADA, Leak Detection, and scheduling systems, while also leading a team of SCADA Engineers and Analysts.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of SCADA Engineers and Analysts, providing guidance and support.
Develop upgrade plans, guide the team and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Implement and manage work assignments via MOC processes, adhering to Control Room Management requirements.
Troubleshoot SCADA and Leak Detection issues, communication infrastructure, and server hardware.
Manage internal and external audits, incident investigations, and corrective action development, implementation, and sustainment.
Review, update, and develop procedures, policies, and training materials to meet or exceed legislative and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation of SCADA configurations, procedures, and incidents, generating regular reports to track system performance and KPIs.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience with AVEVA OASyS SCADA (including PLM) experience.
P. Eng or CET designation.
Post-secondary education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with advanced programming skills for C#, VB, and SQL.
Preference for Leak Detection experience in a liquids pipeline.
Extensive experience in developing high-quality, dependable real-time applications.
Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.
Proven time management skills, with the capability to lead, motivate, and sustain efforts to meet deadlines and address multiple issues and work processes simultaneously.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to liquids pipeline systems to ensure systems are compliant with all applicable regulations.
