Our client, a respected legal real estate firm in Mississauga, is currently hiring a Legal Administrative Coordinator/Clerk to support their team. This position involves reviewing legal documents and ensuring clients receive professional and timely service. Legal Administrative Coordinator
Location: Mississauga, ON
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Pay Rate: $20-26 per hour (based on experience)
Duration: 3–4 month contract with the possibility of extension or permanent hire
Schedule: In-office training for 2–3 weeks, with potential to move to a hybrid model (3–4 office days per month)
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess title searches from various provinces
- Identify and address title issues or inconsistencies
- Draft legal documents, including mortgages and title amendments
- Verify the accuracy and compliance of all documentation
- Ensure all required information is collected before advancing files
- Organize and manage file documentation and deadlines effectively
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient file handling
Qualifications:- Diploma or post-secondary education in a related field
- Previous experience in a legal or real estate setting is an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and motivated to learn
