Agilus is recruiting for a Electrical Service Manager in the construction industry in Markham, Ontario. The Electrical Service manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the electrical service department. This individual will be managing a team of electricians and technicians, coordinating service calls, and maintaining relationships with clients. A typical day: Supervise and manage the electrical service team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee service operations to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to safety standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, Prepare and review service estimates, proposals, and contracts. Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment. Keep accurate records of service calls, work orders, and client interactions for reporting and analysis. Successful candidates will have: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred. 5 + years of experience in electrical service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documents. Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
