Agilus is recruiting for a Electrical Foreman in the construction industry in Markham, Ontario. The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work on construction sites or within facilities. This role involves supervising a team of electricians and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The Electrical Foreman collaborates with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure successful project execution. A typical day: Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and electrical workers on-site. Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to ensure proper installation. Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes & regulations Assign tasks, and mentor team members Inspect electrical work for quality and adherence to project requirements. Maintain inventory of electrical materials, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and scheduling. Maintain accurate documentation, including work logs, reports, and inspection records. Successful candidates will have: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program preferred. Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local authorities. 5 + years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and safety codes.
