Salary: From 30 to 30 per Hour

We are assisting our healthcare client in the search for an Accounting Assistant to join their team. If you’re detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. The position is an 11 week contract, and is fully onsite in downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process credit card payments and resolve disputes.
  • Deposit cheques and update bank accounts.
  • Prepare month-end and quarterly payments.
  • Input data into accounting software.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate analysis reports and assist with audits.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
