Our client is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their team! This is a permanent role in the Ottawa region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine financial models for real estate projects.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess financial risk and return scenarios.
  • Collaborate with capital markets teams to evaluate financing structures.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for active projects.
  • Assist in securing construction and permanent financing.
  • Prepare financial presentations for investors and lenders.
  • Lead or support due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, and financing rounds.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust financial projections accordingly.
  • Offer strategic decision support, scenario planning, and profit analysis.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in real estate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or private equity.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with construction financing and alternative lending structures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, with the ability to think outside the box.
