We are currently seeking Casual Security Guards to support operations within Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield. This respected, high responsibility role is essential in ensuring safety, security, and operational continuity.

About the Role
In this position, you will serve as the first line of defense at a critical national site, managing access control, conducting patrols, enforcing regulations, and responding to security incidents. You will operate in a highly professional environment where vigilance, strong communication, and customer service are essential to maintaining a safe and secure base.

What You Bring
- Valid Alberta Security License
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver’s License, Class 5
- Residency in Canada for minimum 10 consecutive years to obtain Enhanced Security Clearance
- Strong customer service skills and situational awareness
- Ability to communicate effectively and exercise sound judgment
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and security systems)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Capacity to patrol indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to respond to emergencies and active situations
- Capability to climb and descend stairs as required
Working Conditions
- Casual on‑call schedule with 12‑hour shifts (day and night rotations)
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work
- Exposure to inclement weather and dynamic site conditions
