Overview

Our healthcare industry client is undergoing a major modernization of its business intelligence capabilities. They currently rely on Qlik Sense integrated with a Drupal-based website for public and secure reporting. As part of an AI-driven strategy, they are also adopting AWS QuickSight for advanced analytics.

We are seeking a Senior BI Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of modern BI solutions, including AI-powered dashboards, Qlik Sense applications, and web-integrated visualizations.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will:

• Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards, visualizations, and backend data models.
• Build and manage reporting solutions using AWS QuickSight with a focus on its AI features.
• Integrate Qlik dashboards into Drupal web pages using mashups and APIs.
• Follow best practices for UX, accessibility (AODA/WCAG 2.0), and bilingual content delivery (English/French).
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and UX teams to deliver scalable BI solutions.

Key Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of experience with Qlik Sense (dashboards, data models, visualizations, set analysis)
• Proficient in AWS QuickSight, including hands-on experience with its AI capabilities
• Strong experience with Qlik extensions and custom extension development
• Skilled in data transformation and creation of QVD files in Qlik Sense
• Expertise in embedding Qlik apps into websites using APIs and mashups (Drupal, HTML)
• Experience with custom visualizations and widgets using Sense APIs and third-party chart libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js)
• Proficient in managing Qlik environments using Qlik Management Console (tasks, streams, security rules)
• Familiarity with AODA/WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards for BI applications
• Performance tuning and optimization of Qlik dashboards
