Location: Toronto (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract, 1 year term with possible extension. 7.25H/D


About the Role:

We're hiring a seasoned Product Manager to support internal Azure platform services for the our public sector client in Toronto. This role focuses on formalizing and managing existing services—both on-prem and cloud-based. You’ll lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, working closely with internal technical teams and business stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the full product lifecycle: strategy, vision, planning, roadmap, feasibility, delivery, and feedback loops.

  • Translate business goals into actionable product plans and clear requirements.

  • Work with internal development teams to formalize and scale internal Azure services (on-prem and cloud).

  • Lead Agile delivery: define user stories, manage backlogs, and participate in ceremonies using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.

  • Document use cases, workflows, stakeholder maps, and onboarding materials.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between business and technology.

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, ideally in large enterprise or government environments.

  • Strong experience with Azure cloud and on-prem infrastructure services.

  • Skilled in Agile methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA).

  • Excellent business analysis skills including stakeholder engagement, process mapping, and documentation.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills; able to navigate complex internal environments.


Nice to Have:

  • Public sector experience.

  • Familiarity with internal service catalogs and ITIL processes.
