Our client, a respected non-profit organization supporting children's healthcare, research and community initiatives, is seeking a passionate Bilingual Social Media Officer to help amplify its mission and connect with audiences across digital platforms.

In this permanent role, you'll collaborate with communications professionals and cross-functional teams to bring impactful stories to life. You'll have the opportunity to combine creativity, strategy and data-driven insights to build online communities and inspire meaningful engagement.

Your Responsibilities

• You'll develop and manage a social media content calendar aligned with organizational campaigns, events and priorities.
• You'll create, schedule and publish compelling content across multiple social media platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• You'll monitor online communities, engage with audiences and identify opportunities to strengthen reach and engagement.
• You'll analyze social media performance, prepare reports and recommend improvements based on trends and insights.
• You'll stay ahead of emerging digital trends and explore innovative approaches to content creation.
• You'll collaborate with internal teams and provide social media coverage at events to showcase impactful stories.

Skills and Qualifications

• French-English bilingualism is required (advanced french).
• Demonstrated experience managing social media content and campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, multimedia or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities, with an eye for engaging, audience-focused content.
• Experience using social media analytics and performance metrics to inform content strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills, creativity and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and Indigenous Reconciliation.
