Business Operations Lead, Canada Strategy and Operations

Amazon Web Services

Toronto, Ontario

Job description

Business Operations is the integrator across the Canada business and the single-threaded owner of its operating model. You run the rhythm of the business for the Managing Director and the senior leadership team: the weekly SLT meeting and briefing, the field newsletter, Top Deals, and the Monthly Business Review across the divisions, plus the quarterly offsite and all-Canada town hall. You also carry the cross-organizational work with no natural home, from Canada's internal AI adoption to account plan completion. What you answer for is the portfolio itself: which forums exist, what each decides, and which get stopped.

The job asks for three things. AI first: redesign a mechanism around what AI can do, build the agent, and judge what its output can be trusted for. The newsletter and Top Deals already run this way. Then executive influencing: write the Canada business documents, facilitate senior leaders to a decision, and chase actions from people more senior than you. Then mechanism building: decide which forums exist and give structure to initiatives that arrive with no owner.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience in leading a divisional sales operations function or equivalent responsibilities supporting a mid-to-large scale multi-geographical high-tech sales organization
- Strong financial, analytical skills; extensive Excel and Microsoft Office expertise required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- AI certification or familiarity with using solutions that build agentic workflows
