In addition, you are the primary system administrator of the Crown lands electronic document management system, a significant business application used by multiple provincial governments departments to access current and historical Crown land information. This position also completes digitization of Crown land records, ensuring appropriate standards are followed to maintain the integrity, consistency, reliability, and accuracy of the captured information, in compliance with the Government Records Act, Public Archives Act, Freedom of Information Protection of Privacy Act, Personal Information International Disclosure Protection Act and provincial/corporate records management policies and standards.

This may be the right opportunity for you if you have high school completion, graduation from a Vocational Data Processing Program along with 4 years technical experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered; graduation from a certification program in the field of Information Technology or Records Management would be considered an asset.

As the ideal candidate, you have working knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and in-depth knowledge of principles, standards, practices, and techniques of electronic document management systems, database management, and records management. You have a practical understanding of systems application testing, problem resolution and provide effective user systems support. Requires exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders along with experience delivering presentations, workshops, and training sessions. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. You have organization and planning skills that allow you to multi-task while adapting to a fast-paced environment, staying in line with the department’s goals and objectives.
